Anyone know of any that don't cause constipation? I am out of options as to why I am still so tired except anemia (which I had my first pregnancy).

I think it's the iron itself that causes constipation, so I'm not sure you could find one that doesn't cause it. I hope I'm wrong and someone knows of one.

I don't, but you could try supplementing magnesium too and see if that helps keep you more regular. I take magnesium supplements every day, but I don't have to take extra iron so I'm not sure if it would work.

I was just online shopping around (I was told to start iron supplements now too) and I saw one on amazon called 'gentle iron' which claims to be non-constipating. The reviews are pretty good but I haven't tried it myself.

Magnesium makes me feel sick. I only take it when I can't stop BHs.

Jessie: Gentle Iron? I will take a look.

When I was on iron while pg with DS2 I took a stool softener along with it. I don't know of any iron supplements that don't cause constipation.

In the same boat. I meant to ask them to check my iron at my appointment yesterday but forgot! I take gummies so I have been taking a supplement a few times a week already because they don't contain it. Guessing i need to take it daily now.

IF you find something out please post here!
