I have been HORRIBLE about taking vitamins this pregnancy!!! WTH is wrong with me? Maybe that is why I am so tired.

Who else is slacking?

Can't remember the last time I took them. At this point, they are more for you than for the baby. If you are eating a healthy diet with fruits and veggies and not twinkies and potato chips -- you are fine

I take mine every night as long as I am at home. I have a routine of going to bed...plugging up my phone...feeding the fish..then taking my vitamin. Now if I go out of town I might forget because its not my normal routine!

You would think with all the meds I'm on now I would remember to take them. Nope. I don't remember when I took them last.

I was GREAT. Then I was BAD (m/s kicked in any time I took them). Then I was OK. Then I slacked. Now, I'm OK again. What if we're eating veggies and fruits AND chips and twinkies (OK, not eating twinkies, but I would if I had any!)

I have taken ZERO.

I think with my first I took them for a few months. Then with the boy I took them for a month or so. This time...well the m/s was just too bad.

I was soo good at the beginning.. But when I had to switch and start taking them at night so I wouldn't get sick, I started to slack off really bad.. Took it yesterday, forgot today and Monday. I ate a ton of fruits and veggies today so I'm feeling a bit better about not taking it than usual

I feel it when I'm slacking. I start having dizzy spells. But it's encouraging me to stay on them daily... Most of the time.

Gwynne -- Twinkies are back on the shelf you know.... i mean.. not that I would know such a thing......not that I have a box or anything *whistles*

Between my thyroid meds, and taking heartburn meds -- there is just no good time to take vitamins -- can't mix any of the 3 together..... so I chose to eat healthy instead. Every time i tried to take my vitamin (even as much as a week ago) i'd end up feeling sick sooooo fruits and veggies are the way to go!

I started taking mine about a month before we found out that we were pregnant. I've been really good about taking them everyday. I don't recall missing a day yet, but when I hit about 15-16 weeks they started making me sick and I realized that instead of taking them in the morning, that I needed to take them before bed.

I've been really good at taking them, which I'm proud of because I hate taking vitamins. When I was feeling nauseous, I was taking the gummy vitamins. I think because my doctor put me back on asthma and allergy meds, I just make it part of my routine before I go to bed. I take everything at night, and I'm even taking calcium and fiber gummies - which are gross, but have really helped with constipation. I know I'm not getting enough fruits and veggies, so I need the vitamins.

You should ideally take your thyroid meds alone. Iron, calcium and magnesium interfere with absorption. You also can't take thyroid meds within 4 hours of an antacid.

Example: I take my thyroid meds before bed (9pm) because I take zantac at 7am and 5pm.

I'm not taking mine and was horrible with both of my previous kids too. They make me sick...even when I'm not pregnant vitamins make me sick. I'm in search of prenatal gummies but all the ones I find have that nasty sour patch outside. I may just get regualr vitamin gummies.

My first pregnancy was the only one I was good about taking them. I'm doing better this time, but still slacking pretty hard.
