You had unlimited funds to spend on one thing for this baby? Would that change any of the things you plan to purchase?

Would that include a house? cuz that's all we need! I really don't need anything else, so it probably wouldn't change things much as to what we'd buy.

I don't think it would necessarily change what I'd buy, I'd just buy a whole lot more!!!

Well if I had unlimited funds , I would remodel to make more room....and relocate my house to a more quite location. We have a nice farm house however, they have built up around it and traffic has picked up, also no closet space. What closets we do have are super small...

I'm so with you on this one! I would totally buy a bigger house. Even if I had unlimited funds I wouldn't spend tons of money on expensive baby gear and clothes because that would be a waste. Those things are only useful for a limited amount of time but a bigger house would benefit us for many years to come.

well, being as I just BOUGHT a new house...lol

Funds for only one item? I can't think of anything.

I need a new bed and dresser for Patrick, since Allison will be moving in with Erin, so I'd probably spend it on that.

We do have such household needs, but if it were specifically for baby I might buy the all-in-one cloth diapers I want rather than prefolds.

I would buy a prepaid college education if I could only buy one thing for this baby. Student loan debt sucks!

YES! We need an 8-seater if we don't want to take two cars everywhere....

I posted the question and can't think of a single thing. I think it's because the things I've found to be so helpful are the cheapest things we've purchased, like my wrap.

Yes a house. Of course I'd buy all the stuff for our little princess..and I'd give DF a huge chunk of change to restore the VW Scirocco he just bought

We would absolutely get a bigger house. As of right now, when Staci is ready to sleep in a crib in her own room, there is no place to put her. We have a very small 4 bedroom house with DH and I in one room and 2 kids per room for the other three. The rooms are not big so we can't even squeeze her in. We are hoping to get everything financially in order so we can move next summer.
Another option would be a bigger car. We have a dodge grand caravan (2013) but when baby comes, we will have to take two cars everywhere.
