I swear there are days where Tobias will kick/punch/roll what ever he does in there every few minutes it seems and then days like yesterday and so far today where I have barely felt him at all. Which in turn makes me start to freak out and wonder if something is wrong with him.

I asked my midwife about it yesterday and she said they don't start getting concerned about movement or lack there of until about 24-25 weeks because by the the baby is big enough you should feel it many times a day.

Anyone else a worry wort like me? Thankfully I have my doppler

As long as I feel a little something even if it's just a roll or thud, I'm fine. I'm ok with not feeling tons of movement. This baby is not my most active in utero baby. If I don't feel movement and I'm like 30 weeks, then yeah I get worried.

I worry sometimes but as soon as I do, he starts having a party in there or something! A couple more weeks and they'll all be moving like crazy and we'll all wonder why we rushed it in the first place!! Good luck Mama!!!

When in doubt, drink some orange juice. It usually gets the baby moving shortly after. It always works for me. Some say to do this before an U/S to watch an active baby as well.

I worry a little but normally on days where he is not going crazy I am super busy. I figure moves still I just don't feel it.

I dont feel enough movements yet for me to worry if I dont feel him. I also use my doppler everyday so that helps keep me sane lol

Yes. But with my history I guess that's expected.

Glad I am not alone at least! I am hoping he gets to going later on...I know it sounds silly but I have been tracking his movement for the last week to see if there are any trends in his movement...

It's always good to keep track and get to know your baby's routine. May not be able to tell what the routine IS until later (28~30 weeks) but it's good to try to get to know it.

We still have quiet times too. She is pretty active though and usually if I get worried I sit and have a snack and half hour later she is a moving. My doc said last week that its still normal for this stage.

Still less movement all day yesterday and so far today. I know it's probably normal and that I am freaking out for no reason but I seriously can't help it! Especially when he went from moving around A LOT like at least 2-4x an hour to nada...maybe he just changed positions and the placenta is in the way.

I am glad I have another u/s on Tuesday...I need some reassurance for sure. And glad that I have my doppler..... heartbeat last night was 158.

Movement for me is still very inconsistent. I can't wait until it is more regular!

A shift in position definitely can make a huge difference. If he is facing back instead of front or something like that you won't feel as much. You have a lot more nerves in your ab muscles/skin than you do in your internal abdominal cavity.

Good point! I also have an anterior placenta....I am guessing he has changed positions but before most of his kicks were straight down vagina kicks and now his hits/kicks/whatever seem to be less intense.....going to use doppler again before bed. I did get him to move 2x earlier by laying on my back and poking my belly.....

Rolo is kicking my cervix too! Nice to feel *something* I guess. Stupid anterior placentas.
