Anybody else find it SUPER annoying when people tell you "don't eat ranch dressing, don't eat mayo, don't eat lunch meat!" ?! Well, I was actually a tad nervous about all this, until today, when I craved lunch meat soooo bad.... So I caved and had a sandwich loaded with lunch meat

I don't get it, either Now, yes, on occasion, I will indulge and buy a soda and I get some strange looks, but holy heck, I quit cold turkey and it's my once in a great while treat! It's not like I'm chain smoking (I don't smoke anyway, so no biggie there) or drinking alcohol or diving off of the high dive or anything...

I had someone tell me today that I should stay away from candy. Up until last month I had only gained one pound so I'll eat what I want, thank you. Why do they care?

Apperently its because of the "raw eggs" in the dressing -.-

Not anymore. I have heard it in the past but this is my 3rd go 'round so everyone pretty much just leaves me alone.

Nobody has ever said anything about what I eat. Who doesn't have something better to do than give the hairy eyeball to pregnant women eating lunchmeat or drinking Coke???

Now, if you're out guzzling martinis and steak tartare while chain smoking and riding a unicycle across a tightrope, maybe then people can have an opinion.

I send out our "runners" at my job all the time to get me coffee. So one says anything.

I eat whatever I want to eat. Considering I've been eating lunch meat since a kid and I've NEVER gotten sick, i don't really see the big to do in avoiding it.

Same with the cat litter -- I have 3 very healthy indoor only cats. If anyone is going to bring toxo into the house, it would be the dogs! (and they sleep in bed with us!)

I've been cleaning cat boxes for almost 20 years, if I were going to catch something I would have long before now.

My boyfriends mom always gets on me about drinking sodas. I drink and abundant amount of water and she still shakes her head at me when she ask me if I'm still drinking them. I love her dearly, but I'm not gonna stop drinking them unless my dr tells me I have to. I don't drink soda with caffeine everyday and I don't drink a lot of other sodas period. She's the only one that gets on me.

Heres how I see it, and what I generally tell people:

"You know, your pregnant you should not eat/do/drink XYZ!"

"Driving a car while pregnant is less safe than eating/doing/drinking XYZ, so what is your point?"

:-)
