Anyone ever do a hypnobabies class or self study? I've been checking into it today and wanted some feedback from people who may have used this before. Is it better to pay for a class ($275 in my area) or just do the self study ($160ish on Amazon)? The materials seem kind of overwhelming for my pregnant brain, is there a simpler method that achieves the same purpose?

I have a friend who did it and suggested it for me between the unending nausea and anxiety at the end. But I also find the cost prohibitive.

for my own reference I have done both classes (Since i have doula clients who do both, and i wanted to be familiar with it) and i enjoyed the class setting WAY more. I also see a lot more success from people who take the classes.

The Bradley Method is also a GREAT option. I see the most success with that in my doula clients - because it totally gets dad involved and forces mom/dad/provider to all be on the same page.
