I'm probably the LAST person on earth to learn the magic microwave (water vinegar) cleaning tip, but OMG. I tried it today and it worked wonders. Thank GOD. (mix water, vinegar put in bowl, microwave for 5 min. Take bowl out, clean microwave... the steam from the water/vin mix makes it sooooo easy to clean).

The other tip I learned lately that I LOVE is:
Mix 10 parts water to 1 part liquid fabric softener (fragrance free...) in spray bottle.
Spray wrinkled clothes and hang up.
Wrinkles magically disappear, and it works FAST if you are on a time crunch.

That's been a godsend.

I also steam clean my floors with vinegar/water solution and it works well on cleaning carpets.

I'd love more ideas to make the dreaded task of cleaning easier if you have any!

I dont scrub floors... As stupid as it sounds, I have an old pair of slippers that i have tied big sponges to... I sweep with a broom, then dance around/scrub with my feet the kitchen floor... it works, and it makes my daughter want to help lol

I love the Pinterest! I've learned lots of great tricks, but I don't use them nearly enough~LOL! We do the microwave thing, too. I do love the spray bottle with water/vinegar/cheap conditioner. 15-20 sprays in the dryer = fabric softener. I also loved putting a dot of toothpaste on the back of a frame where the nail goes, press to the wall, and VOILA! Rubbing a grease stain on clothing with chalk before washing. For many years I've made natural cleaners, but when I have $$$ I do love the Shaklee. OH~and I have started adding hydrogen peroxide to the cleaning regimen often. LOVE!

The thing I wanna try next is... DOH! Can't find my Pin!!!! It was a DIY hardwood floor wash that left floors looking like they'd had been waxed. Maybe I wrote it down, as it might have been a time it wouldn't Pin for some reason.... OH NO!!!!!!!! If I find it I'll come back and share. Sure hope I do~I was actually excited to do my floors! :/

ETA FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 gallon water, 3/4 c. olive oil, 1/2 c. lemon juice. Use a well-wrung mop and no need to rinse. WHEW!!!!
