I had to look that up. I have never heard the "technical" term before.

I hope he feels better soon and you can keep it away from the other two.

I'm lazy... what is it? Poor kid, doesn't sound like anything you want to have around, though.

Ugh. We had that go around our house about 6 weeks ago. Em has lost 2 fingernails from it. I hope he has a mild reaction and quick recovery.

Hand foot and mouth disease. So far it seems mild. Hoping it stays that way

I've had it twice. Make sure they are giving him Acyclovir! I had to go back to the doctor like 3 times before they would give it to me (second time was in college after Lil Sibs weekend with all the kids staying in the dorm with us) and I could barely get out of bed and couldn't even swallow water.... 12 hours after the first dose of Acyclovir I felt 95% better and the sores started healing. It was amazing!

My son had that. It sucked so bad! A week of whining, fever, blisters all over his hands and feet -- UGH. My son caught everything too -- Fifths, roseola, HFM, croup -- meh!

We had it in our house not too long ago as well. Our doc said it's everywhere this summer. They are seeing tons of it.
