Hows your baby positioned?

Ryder has stayed pretty consistant with being in the correct position. He is head down and facing towards my back.

I'm so happy about this and hope this continues! DS1 always faced forward and never did turn which is what contributed to my emergency c/s. So fingers crossed that Ryder remains this way! (one of my biggest concerns is trying to have a VBAC with another malpositioned baby) Sometimes he does go almost completely transverse, which is very uncomfortable!, but hasn't turned forward at all that i can tell.

As you get farther along you'll be able to tell. My first son always liked to dig his toes into my belly button and you could see his knees pushing against my belly from the outside.

I'm pretty sure my baby girl is still all over the place. She kicks at the top, bottom, side, in the back, in the front. When do they usually get into their birthing positioning? I don't remember with my son.

Oh OUCH! lol That sounds painful! I took a look at my ultrasound pics from the other day and from where my placenta is and how he's turned in the picture it looks like he's facing my back, so hopefully!

I'm not sure....they've been flip-flopped each time. Both head-down, one up one down, and both breech. I'm hoping they'll both settle into a head down position soon and stay that way.

Last u/s on the 26th he was head down facing my belly(hugging up to the placenta!). I am thinking he flips back and fourth and he better turn face down before D day or mama is not going to be happy!

I don't know, either. I think she was transverse for a bit, but I can never tell, unless they are breech like DS was (had a very fast, successful version cuz my doc rocks), then I know! Both the girls were born facing the wrong way and back labor is a %$#@ but it's manageable. I have an u/s in about 4 weeks, so I'll ask then how she's facing.

The last two ultrasounds I had, they were both breech and face to face. The boy flipped head down at one point. It feels like they're moving all around, I feel them very low and up near my ribs. Hopefully they'll both be head down in the near future.

I know we had a head-down baby at the time of U/S, but that's the only time it's come up.

My midwife can tell by feeling, but she doesn't worry about it until later in pregnancy. After a few babies things get kinda stretched out, and they can flip-flop around in there for a good while easily~LOL!

I think my doc only starts to pay attention like 8 or so weeks before EDD. I was 37 weeks when we did the version for DS, and at 32 weeks, I started all these spinning techniques and the Webster chiro to get him to flip naturally (but he never did). So, I know she doesn't give it much attention until around then

I will find out on Thursday since I have another scan but at this point, our babies are small enough to flip around a lot, so it doesn't really matter yet.

I am not sure. It is hardly something I concern myself with at this point. My daughter flipped breech at 34 weeks the morning I had her.

I can tell by the movement I feel. I'm feeling ankles and elbows instead of hands, knees and toes in the front.

I generally can tell. Right now, he is oblique (diagonal). He flips positions several times a day, generally preferring some form of breech position.
