Holiday - Christmas

Season - Fall

Month - October

Family Tradition - celebrating Christmas Eve. We do more for Christmas Eve than for Christmas Day. Christmas Day is a lay about, relaxing day.

Christmas!!! But it's not just Christmas day, it's the whoooole holiday season! all the festivities we go to and celebrations with friends and family When Thanksgiving week rolls around, I just get sooo excited.

Season: Fall. I love the smell of crisp air, the changing leaves, the cool weather, all of the activities of fall!!!

Tradition: we're starting a few, but the fun one is picking the Angel Tree to give gifts to needy families. It's also fun to do the Elf on the Shelf. Our elf is Egg Nog and he comes the day after Thanksgiving. It's amazing how well behavior skyrockets when egg nog is watching

Holiday? Christmas!

Season? Summer

Month? I would probably say June - month of my birthday and the beginning of summer

Family Tradition? Thanksgiving with my side of the family. I have a very large family and we all go to my aunt's house. The girls all help cook and we have a poker tournament at the end of the night.

Holiday? 4th of July or Halloween...I love them both. More the season of Halloween than the actual Holiday, though

Season? Summer!!! I really like Fall, too, but DH is so busy in the fall it makes it kind of sad because we dont get to enjoy the beauty of it with him.

Month? Hmmm..I like July because its HOT and we can be at the pool almost every single day..I also like September a lot, it's still warm out, but it's football season and it's usually perfect bonfire weather! I pretty much like any month that doesnt involve snow!

Family Tradition? We dont have a lot of family traditions....i love that we go to the pumpkin patch every year as a family and we usually rent a campfire and cook hotdogs and smores

Holiday? It is a toss up between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Season? The fall, I love the smell of the air, and the crunch of the leaves.

Month? June, all the flowers are in bloom, and the grass is still green, and it is still fairly cool out.

Family Tradition? I love all of my family's crazy Christmas traditions so much that I can't just pick one. But, there are 2 that I think are great and I love. When I got married, my mom worried about how we would share the holidays, so she started 2 family days that are not on Christmas or Thanksgiving. The day before Thanksgiving, we have Pie Night. Everyone makes a pie, we get together and play games. The second one was started by one of my brothers. The Sunday before Christmas is Navajo Taco Night. We get together for Navajo Tacos, play games, and usually do a white elephant gift game and play other games. This way, we can spend time with all sides of our family.

Holiday? Thanksgiving! I love all the different foods and spending time with my family, not centered around gifts!

Season? Summer... I would take sun over snow any day...

Month? February. Always get my tax return in Feb, Valentines day, and DHs Bday!

Family Tradition? We don't have very many, as we just started out as a family and my parents recently divorced, splitting up many of our old traditions...
