I just went through all of Flynn's cloths and if this baby is a boy I will not have to buy one thing. Everything Flynn has had can be handed down since he was born in December and this baby will be born within the same two weeks.
If this baby is a girl we have one gender neutral sleeper, one gender neutral sleep sack and one girl onesie. Lol

oooh!!! Are you team green through the pregnancy, then? If so, and if you have a girl, I bet you'll have a blast shopping for girly clothes, and so will all your friends and family. That's one thing you can ask for last minute and they'll jump at the chance to buy

I can't wait to find out what these team green babies are, I can't imagine how much patience you all have!

My patience is nil.lol The baby wouldn't show and I don't think I will have another scan. I have to say though, the more time I put past the ultrasound the more okay I am with a surprise.

My husband is actually happy because I couldn't go broke shopping between ultrasound and birth. I am bad at buying and never using. Haha it isn't as bad when I buy post birth though.haha

Wellllll.... You *could* do a shopping spree of girl clothes and things and keep all the tags on and receipts. SUmmer clothing sales are probably going on for the 6-9 month stage and winter clothes should be coming out soon. Then, all you have to do is return if it's a boy You could have a small stash, to start with, since that first week or two usually (for me) aren't a time when I have the urge to hit the stores, and after that, I'm sooo exhausted from lack of sleep that I can't think straight.

There are options

OH, or, you could have a meet the baby party, too, with no registry but request for girl clothes (like a shower) and that would fly probably pretty darn well OR... if you have baby before Christmas, baby could ask all the Santas in your family for girl clothes.

Now, I hope you have a girl!

I was going to suggest you shop at Kohls and if you don't have a Kohls card open one for shopping only! They take things back for a year after purchase and can look it up using your Kohls card....just keep the tags on everything girly you buy .

I would personally spend a little and get enough for a week or two worth of clothes and just leave everything with tags just in case. I wouldn't want to be shopping right after either!

Well we plan on trying to get preapproved for a mortgage next month so IF we get a house before or just after Christmas we will have a house warming/meet the baby party. So that is a good plan for that.

Usually I leave baby in plain onesies or sleep sacks the first couple weeks anyway since I have to change diapers so often. lol So asking for clothes from Santa and/or meet the baby is a really good idea.

I plan on getting two outfits for the take home outfit and then returning then selling the one we don't use. I would return but I plan to buy outfits from a Gymboree seller on FB so returning isn't an option. lol

I'd buy some neutral onesies and sleepers just to get through the first two weeks. Tell your hubby he'll be on laundry duty if it's a girl

Then definitely go for the post baby shower if it's a girl How fun!
