Is anyone else getting a rhogam shot?

Are you already scheduled? Have it already?

I think it is annoying that ALL OVER my chart are stickers about me being RH Neg. I have had the shot 5 times now. Yet I STILL have to get blood typed before they will give it to me. Like maybe my blood type up and changed.

I had half a dose at 6 weeks when I had some bleeding, so I assume I will have it around 30 weeks, if I don't get it Wednesday. DS1 has DH's blood type so chances are DS2 will as well, so I am not messing around with waiting or anything!

Thankfully no. DH and I both have A+ blood, as does Erin. The other two haven't been typed, but I'm pretty sure they do as well.

I am A- and DH is B+. I think that Elizabeth is A+ and Flynn is AB-...but now I can't remember. They typed both of them at birth...I could probably find the papers around here somewhere.

I don't remember if I need this or not. I'm O- I think. Whichever O is the most common, that's me. I can't remember if I got this with DD, it's been so long ago but for some reason I think I did. My OB hasn't said anything about it this time though.

Positive blood types dont have to worry -- it's just the small percentage of us with negative blood that have to worry

O- here, scheduled for my next appointment. My first doctor who tested my type scared me when she says "If you start bleeding go straight to the hospital and tell them you need Rhogam."

I'm assuming thatI don't need it... was never told anything and I'm not entirely sure what my blood type is so I'm guessing its a positive type.

Maybe I'm O+ then, I can NEVER remember! I went to the DR yesterday and he still hasn't said anything about it so I'm assuming that I don't need it. I do know for a FACT that I am O something

I'm the same way, I can never remember if I'm + or -, but I know I'm whichever doesn't need the shot, so, thanks to this thread, I now can confidently say O+. I remembered I'm O on my own, but just never could remember the + or -, but I never needed the shots... so I must be +
