Anyone start nesting, or at least knocking off items from their to-do list? In my head I want to get things done, but physically, I have no energy (today, especially, my whole house is slightly under the weather so we're watching football and taking it easy).

I have a list of just a few things that need to be done, but it's not much. Maybe a good weekend or two, but wow, when you think about the fact that 37 weeks is only like 10 weekends away, holy cow, it doesn't seem like enough time already! Especially when factoring in the need to clean the house a couple of good thorough times before baby comes...

Oh my, my list is growing longer as I write this. AAAAK! I better get on the ball. Sigh.

I'm starting to freak out a little about getting the babies' room ready. DH did some cleaning today and we should be ready to paint in the next week or two. Next weekend we're going to register and hopefully pick out and purchase our cribs. Once the room is painted and cribs are put together I'll feel a thousand times better.

I felt like washing the walls recently, bought a new mop to do so, and then the feeling passed. LOLOL! I am getting some crochet projects done, and we did a good clean-up for our recent company from Hawaii. It already looks like we've been hit by a tornado again though....

I think you are too kind. Kind people give the people around them a hard time. You can't express yourself honestly, because you are worried about hurting other people's feelings, and that makes you miserable.~"Winter Sonata"

i have been nesting for a long time. ive taken seriously 50 bags of stuff to goodwill! just old clothes and towels and stuff we dont need, and tons of toys. i pulled out all of hunter's newborn clothes today and went through them all and washed/dried them...hopefully i can get them put away tomorrow. Hubbs pulled out the bassinet but i need to wash it.

i havent bought M very many items, which it doesnt seem like he should need much, but both the other kids are summer babies so we dont have much for a winter newborn..he needs clothes and thats more what im getting the itch to do now

I've done a little nesting. I do have my to do lists. I have them by month so I don't feel too overwhelmed. It also doesn't help that I'm having DD's birthday party when I'm 36 weeks pregnant. Birthday parties have always been a big deal and I don't want her to feel like she's missing out since I'm due on her actual birthday.

Yes! I feel exactly the same! I woke up at 5:50 this morning thinking about my to-do list! Definitely major nesting, but I only have energy in small spurts. This weekend we cleaned out the hallway closet, I got some paperwork organized, and cleaned out the master bath vanity drawers. My wonderful DH is working on the boy's room right now. I have a list a mile long that seems to grow each week. I'm starting to really feel the time crunch!

Samantha... you need a bonus from work

Melissa... I just rearranged my list in accordance to weekends, and later to months. Insane. I just looked at it and got tired I'm sure I'll have many more things to add. I added all my baking things yum! I'll start that in November.

We just moved and had to start from scratch with furniture. Good thing I'm nesting, had to assemble Ikea furniture for 2 days...

Also painted a yellow accent wall in the kitchen, today I made a pendant lamp with a mason jar for the kitchen, organized baby's dresser...

I am going crazy with this stuff! I love it!

I think my dh is nesting, lol! He has changed the whole house water filtration, had the furnace checked and fixed, got a new well pump, bought a new expansion tank for well, and last but not least.....my favorite, replaced our crappy dishwasher. He has done most of this in the last month. He says to me"so much for YOUR nesting!" I get my energy in spurts and our nursery is nearly complete. I still need to make curtains and a blanket and some other small stuff. I would like to have a plan to make some freezer meals for after baby. Right now I just need to keep up with the house, which is getting hard with all my appts and school things. Oh yeah, also wanted to add to my dh nesting list that he has been doing major yard work and trying to finish patio up too!
