So I just got out my box of baby boy clothes....

In Newborn size

9 onesies, one onesie missing a pair of pants, 4 outfits, 4 sleepers and a pair of shorts.

In 0-3 months

2 pants/jacket sets, one sleeper, 5 onesies, 5 outfits and 6 pairs of pants.

I think I have a little bit of shopping I have to do. I definitely need more sleepers!

Oh and socks. He'll probably get super cold feet like all his siblings, I'll need socks. I didn't keep any.

You gals better get to shopping!!!!
My shopping is on hold until after the move which totally stinks. I am however making a list to keep on my computer so we can run out literally the week we move to get things since I will be 36 weeks!!

I have one pair of PJs and one sleep sack. Unless baby is a boy...then I have tons of clothes.

I plan to just buy a bunch of plain white onesies.

I went through DD's newborn through 3 months stuff last Friday.

In newborn size I have:

6 gowns
4 pjs
9 onesies
5 one piece outfits
several pairs of socks

In 0-3/3-6 months I have:

10 pjs
8 outfits
9 onesies
3 sleep sacks
several pairs of socks

I bought - 3 newborn sleep and plays, one newborn coming home outfit, 3 3-6 month sleep and plays and one 3-6 month outfit just because I couldn't resist. Oh and one newborn sleepsack swaddle. I do want one more of those. I also bought about 8 6-9 month summer outfits that were on clearance and paid $17 for all of them.

If this baby were to be a boy, I'd have to buy him pretty much everything because DD's stuff is 95% girly including the onesies and socks. I was so geeked to be having a girl that I went all out on the girly stuff.

I didnt get that many clothes at my shower -- i got more of the bigger ticket items or random things.

I didnt have to buy much this go around since we reused the clothes from my 1st. I had to buy a few long sleeve outfits and onesies though in 0-3 since we were opposite seasoned this time.

my mom and sis went to carters and bought over $500 + in clothes for Nala... so I"m good to go for a while. I'm not buying anything else b/c I'm probably going to get more for the baby shower.

Yeah for showers you usually don't get many clothing items other than like onesies or socks. Occasionally people will pick up an outfit or pjs but most people wait until baby is born to gift clothing. For the FTM moms or those who are starting over, I wouldn't wait until the shower. I would pick up a few things but not take the tags off right away.
