Its like a blood blister only I've had it for years. Its usually flush with my skin but when i was pregnant with DS1 it ballooned out in my 3rd tri. I ended up sticking it with a needle after he was born and it just bled like a stuck pig and then went flush again but didn't go away. Now here I am pregnant again and it's starting to balloon out again. I was just curious if any of you had one or knew what it was. One of these days I'll ask a dermatoligist about it.

I wonder if it's a petechia or a cherry angioma?

I have one on my shoulder. It's been there for a few years.

Looks like a cherry angioma (red mole). They are basically a bunch of broken blood vessels. Probably ballooned because you've got an increase in blood volume right now

Yeah I have one on my leg. It's sensitive and if I hit it with a razor when shaving it bleeds a lot. You can get them removed but they sometimes come back anyway.

I have a few too on my legs and my belly. Smaller then yours but I still have them. It's part of the aging process my dr tells me. UGH!

Just leave it alone... it is what makes you YOU! : ) It should go back to normal after baby is here.

Yep, after some reading it seems the best fit... It's weird though, and as you all mentioned age, because I got this thing when i was like 20 years old. I'm only 26 now.

I developed something like this on my chest during my 1st tri. My mom also got them, also on her chest, and she got them when she started hormone therapy? I wonder if it's something about our hormones that makes them more prominent now?

But, yea, not anything to worry about and omg I winced so hard when you said you popped it. Moles bleed A LOT.

I have one on my back and never had any idea what it was. Glad you asked because now I know.
