Yup, my son is totally a mama's boy. I do encourage him to hang with his dad and do guy stuff, but I must admit that I love being the favorite. I just wonder if both boys are like this, will it cause sibling rivalry??

I think it's going to cause a lot of jealously issues here from day one. The more pregnant I get the more clingy he's getting, I've taken steps to prepare him to have Him used to Grammy and SO helping with him more but it's been just us for so much and so long... Won't be easy

I'm already dealing with jealousy here. I can't even go into the baby section of a store if she's having a rough day. I think it's really going to be hard when she has to go to her dads (she was born in a previous marriage) for the first tittle while after he's born.

my husband seems to think our son WONT be a mama's boy.. because he was a very independent child growing up.. i just laughed because mama's boy run in my family lol

my nephew is 4 and doesn't understand who's the parents of the baby.. he keeps asking.. so who's the mommy and daddy? and when I say me and uncle mike he's very skeptical. He's asked my sister and said, but you're not the mommy, you're MY mommy ok? but then he says he wants to meet his "brother"

he's only has older sisters so a new little boy is a little weird for him but he's excited still.. it's pretty funny the things he's been saying lol

My daughter is also from a previous marriage but I think she'd more jealous if it was a little girl. Her dad and step mom had a little girl a few weeks ago and because of her age, she's doing ok with it at their house but if I had another little girl, I really think it would bother her. Since we are having a boy, she's super excited for the time being!

Everyone keeps asking me what Wyatt things about it, but he's only 2.5 and while he talks about the baby I really don't think he "gets it".

I keep asking him "hey Wyatt do you want a baby for Christmas?!" He gets all excited and says yes. So I say "ok, but that's all your getting!"

Yeah, my 2 year olds have never *really* understood until the baby was born. lol (Erin was 21m when Patrick was born, Patrick was 2 1/2 when Allison was born, Allison is 2 now) I'd tell them about it and all they really got was that mommy was sick and her belly was getting big and she was getting slow.

Erin and Patrick *now* though, they're super excited. lol

Well, this is Erin's 3rd younger sibling and Patrick's 2nd, so I think it's easier for them to understand! lol

Brylie is stoked. She thinks she's going to feed him her milk boobies hunter is not excited and he says he loves brudder as long as he stays in mommas yummy :wub; I think he'll be fine though. Brylie was 20m old when hunter was born and she had zero issues adjusting.

Allison's clingy but no more than usual. My kids actually all prefer their dad, and since he's out of town, they have no choice but to give me loves. lol

I'm a FTM but I have a 3 year old cousin I live with all week who is extremely excited! She always "tickles" him and says "he wants out! He doesn't want to wait." Lol!! She knows hes coming for christmas and thinks santa is bringing him (I wish!). One day she leaned against my DF and whispered "Hayden is my best friend" (the name we have picked for little man ) too sweet!!

My son was super independant until I got pregnant. Now he is super clingy and doesn't want to work on his next milestones as much anymore.
