My pubic bone has been hurting the last few days, I thought it was just the weight of him being so low. But today I woke to feeling like I racked my pubic bone on a metal pole. If my thighs aren't together I'm in horrible pain. Among other restrictions. I'm so disheartened. I never had any of this stuff with my ds1.

oh I feel your pain! I have it too and I had it with my previous pregnancy. I find sleeping with a pillow between my legs helps a bit and during the day, laying down with a hot water bottle in between your legs helps too. Analgesics didn't help me and unfortunately, for me, it got worse the further I got in pregnancy. On a positive note, it went away immediately after having the baby...what a relief! It even hurts my pelvis sitting on the toilet!

Let me know if you come up with any other pain relief ideas....i'll try anything!

Oh. Booo!!! I'm sorry. One thing after another, but the good news is that this baby-torture is going to be over in less than 2 months! I hope the SPD lessens, it can lessen, can't it?

Red birds I don't think it'll lessen sadly. Everything I have read pretty much hang on for the ride and don't do to much so you don't get in to much pain or cause damage.

As far as what you can do I ordered a "prenatal cradle" today. It helps get some of the weight off your hips and back. I've read it can help. I'll report back.

I think you are too kind. Kind people give the people around them a hard time. You can't express yourself honestly, because you are worried about hurting other people's feelings, and that makes you miserable.~"Winter Sonata"

I'll probably bite my tongue later for this, but i actually wouldn't mind a little SPD -- Lucas keeps wedging himself into my hips and I DONT feel my pubic bone stretching at all -- and that sorta worries me lol. I feel all the pain in my hips only.

Well I can tell you that SPD, SUCKS!!! I hate it and had I had this with DD, I really don't know that I would have been able to do this again so I guess there is a reason for everything! I'm so sorry that you're hurting Kendal. I know it's awful but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel. I can tell you, for me, the support belts didn't work they just made me feel more constricted and completely uncomfortable but you are much thinner than I so maybe it'll do the trick for you! I'll say a prayer and keep my fingers crossed. What did help, was going to Academy or any store really that sells ice packs and buying SEVERAL and using them constantly! Good Luck!
