My husband and I are expecting our second child. Due date is Dec. 12th but we're finding the name discussion to be a lot harder this time around!

Our daughter's name is Amelia Angelina (middle name is in honour of my grandmother). We don't know the gender of this baby, so we need to come up with both boys and girls names. We have a list of some that we like, but none that we can say that we absolutely LOVE.

I like using middle names that honour family members.
If it's a boy, his middle name will be Tho (pronounced "toe") in honour of my husband's father who passed away in 2002 or a double middle name of William Tho (my husband's name and his dad's name), depending on which one sounds better. If it's a girl, the middle name might be Quan (my husband's mother) or Catherine (my mother).

We like names that are a bit classic, but not too common. Not really into the Hayden, Cayden, Jayden etc. trend.

Some ideas we've come up with:

Boys - Kai, Sebastian, Zachary
Girls - Abigail, Cassidy, Ashleigh, Teagan

Any other ideas welcome!!

Have you ever tried Nymbler - Your Personal Baby Name Assistant

You put in names you like as "inspiration" and it gives you names that go with it.

Zachary and Ashleigh (or any spelling therein) are still SOOO popular, I'd steer from them if you don't want anything like that. UG.

As for other names, I agree, using Nymbler can help. Try the Name Board here, too...

I've heard Kai quite a bit and it seems like a nice name for a boy. Sebastian is a wonderful name I think it's my favorite of your list.

I had CAssidy on my list for girl's name for a while and so it's at the top, and I know a little girl named Teagan and she's a sweet as can be. Like it, too

I can't think of other names, as you styles are pretty open, it seems HOpe you get some new ideas!

I am partial to Sebastian because I have a nephew with that name. As for the girls name, I am no help because I can't even come up with one for my own, lol.

I think you are too kind. Kind people give the people around them a hard time. You can't express yourself honestly, because you are worried about hurting other people's feelings, and that makes you miserable.~"Winter Sonata"

My friend had a baby in May she named Amelia. She also has a daughter named Adelyn. I think they sound cute together.
