This whole pregnancy people have been telling me I'm too small, I don't even look "that" pregnant, and tell me I look good for being so far along (am I supposed to look bad..??).

Anyways, yesterday at work I got asked when my due date is, I told her December 18th. She replied with "I don't think thats right, you look like you're going to pop NOW." Uh, ok. I just looked at her and said "wow thanks". Then this other girl who overheard it kept saying I'm gonna "pop him out tomorrow". Well, I certainly hope not. And that girl is also pregnant! What the heck, she of all people should know better.

I can't wait to go on maternity leave and not have to deal with their comments when I get even bigger.

Don't worry about it honey. People are ignorant and they don't realize that sometimes the comments that they make, no matter how nice they are TRYING to be, come off as extremely inconsiderate and RUDE.

That's ridiculous! I can't understand why people think it's okay to say whatever they want to a pregnant woman. Don't they think you're under a doctor's care and they might be able to calculate an accurate due date for you? The stupidity of some people! I can't wait to not have to deal with the public either - I'm really looking forward to it. Although I know when I go out with my babies after birth I'm going to get "Are they twins?" all the time. At first I'll say yes, but I think eventually I'll just tell them that one's mine and I found the other in the parking lot.

I always get the "are you pregnant?" comment, and it's tiring now because honestly, I can't be THIS FAT. I have to be pregnant

When I was preg with my first, those comments were even worse because I was a typical FTM who didn't really pop until the end. Insane. People are so odd. Why do they think it's ok to insert foot in mouth with a pregnant woman, but typically know better with everyone else?

Don't let it bother you. People don't know what to say. They should just be quiet really, but they feel a need to say something. I've been told I look really small for having twins, small for having a single baby, and of course, on the other end of the spectrum, wow you look HUGE!

These are the same morons who will ask "Is that a girl?" when the baby is outfitted in like a football uniform, or "Is that a boy?" when your newborn is in a very frilly, girl dress and bow. LOL.

In one ear and out the other is my philosophy.

Call me huge or call me small, I don't give a crap. I know I'm huge because I'm measuring full term..lol...but I'm proud of my belly, so who cares.

At least they can tell you're pregnant! I'm so FAT people don't know WHAT is going on! Seriously~when I tested in TKD for my yellow belt I felt the instructor pushed me REALLY HARD. (Even had to do the wheelbarrow, which was really hard on my back.) Later I'm told they didn't know? After all the times I've shared about not sleeping while preggers and whatever else? REALLY?!!!

Luckily, I don't get any rude comments. I usually get that I look "cute". I'll take cute. I wouldn't really care if someone said I looked huge or whatever because well my stomach is pretty huge. To me, that's not rude it's just stating the obvious.

since I am just fat anyways, I keep getting.

"Are you sure you're pregnant?" No, I'm just buying baby stuff just cuz... ***,
or "you don't look as far along as you say you are"

ive noticed these comments are being made by people who have never been pregnant, or never had a girl.. because mamas that have had a girl always say "yep. you can tell shes a girl because you carry all over"

anyways, ive decided the filter on some peoples mouth may be broken...
