So my normal appointment turned into a fFN test, bacteria test and cervical check.

Initially I had declined the cervical check but with my history and as crampy as I have been she talked me into it. I am all closed up, thankfully! Baby HR is in the 150's. Baby is wiggly!

Not sure when she will call with my test results. She said we would talk about steroids if it is positive.

Back next week for my shot and the following week for my 34 week appointment.

Oh and I said Thanks, but no thanks to the flu shot.

Sounds like a good appointment. I hope all the tests come back negative and you are good for another 5 weeks

Marko insists that I make it until December. It feels like FOREVER away and right around the corner at the same time.

If you're all closed up....I don't understand why they even did the fFN test, or why she'd think a positive would be cause for steroid shots? It's obviously not doing anything yet.

Sounds like a good appointment otherwise though. I refused the flu shot too....and thankfully no one has bugged me about it since.

False positives are more common than false negatives. Just be careful If you are closed up tight -- I would not be concerned at all

They are very very careful. Overly so at times....especially since they have no idea why I had my water break for seemingly no reason at 34 weeks with Elizabeth. I wasn't committed to the steroid shots if it came back positive she just said it would be a consideration.

I was surprised at not getting any crap over the flu shot! With Elizabeth and Flynn they made it seem like the end of the world if I didn't get it!

I declined the flu shot also. I've not had it since I was a kid and so far (knock on wood) so good!
