did 8 loads of laundry, folded and put them all away (including 3 baskets of his clothes) cleaned the main bathroom, cleaned both kids rooms, and dusted/vacuumed the living room and cleaned the laundry room...went grocery shopping, did a project with the kids, had them both bathed and made homemade ravioli, homemade alfredo sauce and homemade mozzarella sticks and mixed veggies for supper...and kitchen was cleaned up and he came home and said

"so what did you do today?" all snarky like I just sat on my fat arse all day....im so mad. hes sleeping in his truck tonight in the barn (literally, i told him not to come back til tomorrow when he could apologize)

He shouldn't have said that.

However, if I ever told Marko to sleep in his car he probably wouldn't ever come home.

Every time my husband says "I'm tired" I want to punch him. He has an office job-it can be stressful. But it's not manual labor. And I'm on my own until 7 each night. And besides being 9 months pregnant and doing all house work and kid wrangling, I've also been getting the baby's room ready--alone. Painting, etc. go to storage unit 2x a week, sorting clothes and just basically getting the whole
House ready. But HE'S tired and wants to sleep in on weekends!!!!

Oh dear lord......my husband honestly would have gotten throat punched if that happened in this house....and no I am NOT kidding. There would have been physical violence.

ha, i make him sleep in his truck a lot...well not like regularly, but if i get mad enough, he knows just to go to the barn. he has a heated barn, im not that worried about it. he sleeps in it anyway when he's waiting to go hunting. i dont feel bad. but you know what? When i got home the kitchen floor was mopped and so was the bathroom floor and he took the shower curtain off and washed it. he didnt want to sleep outside twice in a row

Love it! What does it take for them to figure things out? So glad he stepped up though.
