I get migraines so I don't know if they are PP related or not. I have had a couple since giving birth.

I am, but my thyroid is totally wonky and causing it. I have not had a headache in 10 months (since my thyroid issue was diagnosed).

I have constant spinal related headaches and stiff/sore neck..yay for csections. :/ That's been causing me more pain since day 1 than anything else!! Motrin keeps it manageable and they told me usually it goes away within 6 weeks...so, hopefully it will not last too much longer. As soon as the drugs wear off though, ouchy.

They said I was at higher risk of getting it because they had to had to puncture me so many times before they got the spinal right. :/ I could go have the "blood patch" thing done, but that requires getting stuck in the back again and I don't really want to do that..so I'll deal with popping an ibuprofen.

Wow, me too. They called in another anesthesiologist because they couldn't get the spinal-- it must have been 10 times before they did it. I have a huge swollen bruise on my back. I had horrible headaches in the hospital, anytime I wasn't laying flat with my feet up. Nobody told me they might be related to the c-section. They started getting better as the swelling in my back has gone down.

They're not uncommon. In fact, my mom had me by csection in the early 80s and said she had a spinal headache that was really bad and lasted for weeks also.

The nurses told me its more common if they had to poke you more than once. I was told caffeine helps a bit, and laying flat.
