OMG, Chelsea! I love your pic in the siggy!! SOOO SWEET!

Sleep... I must be, because I"m not feeling too exhausted. She is a grunter, though, when she is "windy" (burpy, needs to "toot" or poop or whatever), so she wakes herself up EVERY time, and I have to figure out if she's hungry or needs a good pat. Either way, it only takes a few minutes and she's out again. We co-sleep, too, so I don't really even get out of bed, and if she's really out, I put her in the arms reach co-sleeper so I can sleep a bit better than when she's right next to me.

Of course, DS has been making it difficult, as he's peed in the bed or has come running into bed from a bad dream for the past couple of nights. AAAK! Poor kiddo.

Ahh...some nights are better than others and I think it has a lot to do with what I eat since I'm BFing. We co-sleep as well, so that helps. I kind of expect to have broken sleep for a long time.

I think you are too kind. Kind people give the people around them a hard time. You can't express yourself honestly, because you are worried about hurting other people's feelings, and that makes you miserable.~"Winter Sonata"

We co sleep too, but I wasn't getting much sleep as I was having to wake her every two hours to nurse. Hopefully I will feel more rested as we had an appt and my little peanut is past her birth weight and the pedi said I can now let her sleep 3-4 hrs at night. I don't think she likes waking in the night because she never eats much in the night. She cluster feeds in the am and before bed. Hoping for more restful sleep tonight

I thought I wasn't going to co-sleep with Laila but she had other plans. She'll sleep her first couple hours in her crib then the rest of the night she's in bed with DD1 and me. I sleep diagonally in order for us all to fit. The two littles take up most of the bed. I guess I'm getting about 5-6 hours a night broken into 3 intervals of 2 hour blocks.

DH and I work in shifts --- 9-1:30 and 1:30-6am and switch shifts every night so someone is always getting some sort of sleep every other night. I can usually get a solid 5-6 hours straight and a broken 2-3.

Ha. Lilah's an angel at night. *Knocks on Wood* She sleeps from 1-11. Wakes up 2, maybe 3 times to eat. But we co-sleep, so all I do is latch her on and fall immediately back asleep. I only really wake up to change her, maybe once or twice during the night. And that only takes 5 mins.

what is sleep?? That is a foreign concept for us right now. She is miss fussy pants until about 1 or 2, but it does seem to be getting better the last couple of nights. If I'm lucky I'll get a straight 3-4 hour stretch on a good night and then mostly 1-2 hour increments:/

I have a very hard time sleeping during the day too which makes it hard for me to catch up. If I weren't so old it would be easier....I remember when I was a young chicken I didn't require as much sleep as I do now

I hope maverick will start gaining weight back for you, I know that must be stressful...

Hayden is pretty good at night. We go to bed around 11 just so we don't have to wake up an extra time lol. So he will wake up between 2-4am then again at 6-7am. He sleeps in the bassinet.. Except for last night when I passed out with him on my chest for 2 hours lol oops!

I want to cosleep but I am way too terrified of DF rolling over him. Even though I am a rock and don't move positions in my sleep, hes a big mover

Abby sleeps pretty well for us! She's usually out from about 10-3 or 4 then back out again until 7ish! Right now, since we're both on leave, the hubs takes the 3 or 4 o'clock, and I get up for the day with her at 7while he sleeps in. We'll see what changes when we're back at work!

Emeric sleeps in his crib in our room, and sleeps pretty well. He's only 3 weeks, but I think we have finally kicked our day/night reversal. Usually get to bed around 11, and then he wakes up twice during the night (no routine yet) by 7. We usually all go back to sleep until 9:30 or 10. Thankfully DH has a flexible work schedule, he can't function on low sleep.

However, when he does wake up, he is UP. Last night he was wide awake from 5 til 7. I am grateful he at least sleeps 3 hours at a time for the most part.
