Poor grammar in the title
How long can your LO's stay awake? I don't know if she's sleeping too much or too little, so just curious as to what habits are starting to form...

Michael seems to have his own natural schedule developing:

Gets up for the day around 6am
Stays awake & alert for several hours in the morning BFing off/on
Snoozes a bit during the morning, but mostly awake/alert
Ready for a nap by noon/BF
Nap from around 12pm-2 or 3
Awake/alert/BFing 3-6
Fussy from around 5-6pm
Asleep/Bedtime 7pm (we put him in the swing downstairs until we go to bed)
9-10pm we get ready for bed BF/diaper change/swaddle baby (he's still asleep)
12am BF/diaper change
3am BF/diaper change
Fussy/gassy/BF between 5-6am

Lilah's schedule is all over the place... But she's never awake more than 2 hours at a time. Lots of cat naps, and one long nap in the middle of the day.

Ari sleeps constantly. Lol he stays up and alert for about 20 minutes every two hours. He has been only waking twice at night to eat, around 12 and then around 3:30

Yeah... our schedule isn't set yet, either. She's up for a good hour or more in the morning, maybe again in the afternoon and once more in the evening, but she seems to sleep more and I'm wondering if I should try to keep her awake a bit to help her sleep better at night. She did better last night, as I figured out she's not waking up, but kind of 1/2 awake and she's not hungry but trying to burp or toot or poop or whatever and then she's out again. It went better, but if I can get it to go even BETTER, heck, I will!

She doesn't have a schedule. She stays up for a couple hours two or three times a day/night. I cannot say she will be awake at any certain time.

All of my kids have been this way. I don't ever set them a schedule. Eventually naps will run about the same time but bed time and waking happen when they happen.

Regardless of bedtime we're up at or about 8:30am. Laila will stay awake until around 11 then she'll sleep about an hour or so, longer if I'm holding her or sitting next to her while she sleeps on the couch. The rest of the day is hit or miss about times and lengths of awake time. She seems to like cat naps instead of longer naps. Around 3 or 4 in the afternoon I've been able to coordinate her nap time with DD1's nap which gives me an hour to an hour and a half to relax or get a few things done. The rest of the day until bed time is an hour awake, short cat nap, another hour awake, fussy period then bed time anywhere from 9 to 11pm. So we have a little bit of a schedule but nothing really regular if that makes sense.

We really have no schedule yet. We go to bed around 11 and usually eat a couple times during the night. Wake at 6:30 to get kids to school, eat again and go back to bed until 9. She usually awake for a coupe hrs in the morning and then awake a couple more times and another longer stretch in the evening. Of course tons of nursing in between. Please forgive any grammar mistakes, as I am barely able to keeps eyes open right now,lol

^^ just like a cat I thought I read somewhere that cats slept a lot because their hearts were smaller for their actual body size, compared to other mammals' heart:body ratio. Hmmm... ((HUGS))
