First off let me say how jealous I am of all the gender scans this week! We go two weeks from today. A friend of mine told me to drink orange juice before going so the babies would be active, did any of you do something like that? I worry they would be too active and it will be difficult to get all the measurements.
I've been in Florida since Saturday (coming home tomorrow) and boy are my feet tired. I was in tears from exhaustion after we spent nearly 8 hours at one of the parks the other day. My feet have been killing me all week. I certainly don't have as much stamina as I did before and my feet get sore after a few hours of walking.
I've had pretty intense round ligament pain all week. I've had a terrible time sleeping because I can't get comfortable. I'm wishing I had brought my body pillow with me.
On a good note, I got the results from my AFP and glucose tests and both were normal. Woo hoo!
I can't believe how quickly four months has gone by, we're almost halfway there!
Traveling while pregnant can be brutal. I travel alot and it takes an extra day at home doing NOTHING just to recover! Prop your feet up, drink lots of water and watch a good movie, if you can
Some docs say to drink the OJ or even a cup of coffee or something, my doc says just to do what's "normal" as sometimes, too much sugar or caffeine can actually put baby to sleep! (strange!) If they can't get good shots, they'll schedule another u/s soon there after (usually a week or so later).
