Hey ladies, I'm currently expecting number 4, never had gestational diabetes and also never had lowish hemaglobin...
while at a wic appt last Monday my hemaglobin was 11.2, apparently under 11is considered anemic...
immediately was asked about my blood sugar numbers, as in if there was any concern about gestational diabetes this time around...
no clue what to think, first appt with my new ob isn't until Sept 30th...
Can anyone shed any light on this???
Thanks in advance!!!

No clue lve never heard of that. But here Wic doesn't consider you low until it hits 10.9. I would be interested to know though.

Wow with every pregnancy I'm anaemic, I usually get down to around 8.5. I'm 8.9 now. But I've never had gestational diabetes. I didn't even know the 2 were in anyway relative!
Thank you cavewoman for my beautiful siggy!!!

I have never heard of the correlation between the two. I always just think of WIC as the place where you are either too fat or too skinny.

Thank you *Kiliki* for once again doing such amazing work on a siggie
