I'm making two sets of brand new grandparents (and 2 new great-grandparents) with this pregnancy and I would like to get them Christmas gifts themed to the occasion.

What I'm looking for is ideas. I was thinking about doing somekind of picture deal but with the due date not being until Feb that idea seems kind of empty as there would be no pictures to fill a frame, albulm or anything else with.

Another obsticle I face. Only one set of grandparents still live together, and I think if I got everybody their own gift and they happened to be frames or something of the like it would be a little re-dundant, but only getting one gift for two people doesn't sit well with me either.

Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated!
If it matters at all, I only live close enough to 3 of these for regular visits.

what if you did a grandma and a grandpa version of whatever it is you do then it whouldnt be quite as redundent as if you got 2 of the exact same thing

maybe instead of an empty picture frames you chould do mugs and fill them with each of there favorite Snacks/drinkmixs so that they get a little more then just a knick knack

What about Christmas ornaments. You can never have too may of those in my opinion and there are so many you can even personalize. Or you could design and make one if you are crafty.

I actually just had a brainstorm of an idea... I could get something small grandma / grandpa oriented and just include a really cute voucher of some sort for a picture gift. I think I like this idea.
