It actually started yesterday. I've never really dealt with this in other pregnancies - just a few dizzy spells here and there if I stood up too fast - but never this constant "off" feeling and feeling like I'm going to pass out if I talk too much or walk around too much. Any ideas? I don't feel like I could be dehydrated, but maybe I'll try to drink more water to see if that helps. I'm just hoping it's not a bad sign for pre-e or something.

Low blood pressure? When mine gets really low, that's how I feel.

I am facing same issue today.. Since morning I am having dizzy spells.
I thought I was low on sugar. So ate sugar cube, drank lot of water, juice. Still feeling like I will fall.

I've felt like this off and on. One morning I couldn't make it through getting ready in the morning without stopping to lay down. Talked to the dr and she said its probably low blood sugar. I'm sure you've already thought of that tho. But it is a terrible feeling!!

I do get low blood pressure spells, and the thought did cross my mind... can that hurt the baby? What can I do to raise blood pressure? It doesn't drop too low - just like 90/50 the last time I checked while feeling like this (pre-preg). I'm feeling so bad I'm thinking about going in, but I don't want to drive myself, and I am NOT dragging DH and two sleeping kids into the ER. Maybe I'll just try to sleep it off and see how I feel tomorrow.

Yeah, my first thought was low BP. I would call your OB and ask for that opinion as well. I hope that it gets better for you.

It can be a totally normal symptom of pregnancy. Or low BP like others said. Or it could even be anemia. If you've had your first appt I would assume they tested you for that already but if you're not sure you could ask.

I've had issues with this, but I also tended to have vertigo anyway pre-pregnancy.
I read that it's normal, and can have different reasons for it. Low blood pressure like some have mentioned, high blood pressure as well (mine stays elevated), fluid in your head from increased mucus production / sinus, and it could also be due to the increased blood volume during pregnancy. Discuss it at your next appointment (or call them if it gets really bad) but it should be fine *knock on wood*

I hope you feel better. Call the Dr. to be sure. I have dizzy spells like you've had in the past, but yours sounds severe now. It could be a lot of things and you just never know.
