Since we obviously dont know the gender yet, anyone come up with nicknames? Im pretty sure DH, while he hints to me that its a girl, has adopted the nickename Budum for he/she. He still calls our boys that. Budum is from Final Fantasy, the little creature things that are your sword refer to humans as budum(s) Kind of funny because our 2 yr old now calls our 3 yr old budum lol- even though he knows his name. And Ryan refers to Luke as "nah-nah" which is Lukes nickname from me. (he used to come up when he was about 10-11 months and he would "say" "Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah"- very matter of factly, so finally one day, I just started saying okay baby nah-nah, and it stuck lol.)

Nope. I was thinking about starting something. My husband called it "my rice in a white sac" because that's what #4 looked like at a super early u/s and that's all he can relate it to right now. Lol. Tomorrow is my appt and I am praying that we get an u/s just to make sure the baby is in the uterus. We shall see. Military hospitals are really bad at doing anything that goes above and beyond the minimum.

I always thought embryo/fetus nicknames were cute. I have never been good at picking a cute one though. This time is no different.

I've been calling this one "Werebaby" because chances are he/she was conceived on the full moon.

My son was known as "McGee".

We really never had other than baby, LOL! Not creative over here at all. I love the idea, though!

My oldest daughter, four at the time, decided for some reason that her little sister in-utero was going to be called Shishee. We called her that as a nickname for a long time! Number four we called Speck because that's all we saw on the first ultrasound. Ha! Hubby and my girls have been calling this baby "Bunny" but I'm not really feeling it.

Baby B 2.0

I called my son Baby B throughout his pregnancy because my husband was adamant that he would be home from deployment before the birth and we would pick a name then. Thankfully he held true to his word with only 9 days to spare.

This baby is Sprog. Its had that nickname for a year and a half. I got sick of saying "Next baby" so I asked my mommy friends to come up with something and one suggested Sprog.

Baby Shannon so far, which is DF's family name. We'll probably add many more to the list as time goes on.

Ry, happily engaged to Zach.
Mom to Bodhi, Brigham, and Elliott.

Betsy was "Baby Acorn". So far, this one is just referred to as "#2". For a short time, it was referred to as "our science project" as we were actively TTC.
Thank you JAIDYNSMUM for my adorable new siggy!

I call this baby "Storm" because if it is a boy, that will be his name...if it's a girl I will name her Audra (which means "Storm" in Lithuanian).

I calle dmy son Pumpkin because he was conceived in October. I didn't have names for my girls though!!!
Thanks Kiliki for the siggy!

I call it my little love bug...

My hubby isn't sold on the name yet, but hasn't come up with anything else, so that's what we're using.

I laughed at the Budum from FF comment - our pets are Sabin and Yuna, also names from Final Fantasy. I've never played the game - but it was a big part of my hubby's childhood, and I like unique pet names.
