For those with two or more in diapers: should I have 2 diaper bags, one for each kid, or
One giant one? I have the jujube BFF right now, and I love it....but I also use a drawstring backpack most of the time, so I can throw it on my back and it's light. My two year old needs 2 diapers, wipes, a bib, his sum hat, usually a race car, snack and juice, his epi pen bag and then I have my wallet, phone and keys. For a newborn, I'll need to add diapers, extra clothes, nursing cover, blanket, bib, baby's hat, a toy....Thoughts?

I used one diaper bag with both of my girls - they're 17 months apart so the older one still needed more than an older toddler would need. But I really didn't need much space for the older one after a few months, especially after she potty trained (I just kept spare panties and pants in the car). Now that they're both older (almost 4 and 2.5) I don't take a diaper bag at all. I have a small pink bag I'll take with a few diapers, wipes, change of pants for the 2.5 year old, and two juice sippies - but only if we're going out for a few hours or more, not quick trips.

My diaper bag was just an average size one, a Skip Hop brand, not one of their big ones.

I have a regular Skip Hop too, which worked fine when I had a 2 year old in diapers and a newborn. I didn't carry much for my oldest except for two diapers and a sippy cup. I'm hoping my youngest will be potty trained before the baby gets here (yeah right) so I can just carry around the baby's stuff. I do need a new bag but will get a regular sized one and pack as light as I can. I hate carrying a ton of stuff while trying to wrangle kids.

Well my girls now are ten years apart so I never had that problem. But I can tell you less is better. When I have a diaperbag I never carry a purse I just put my stuff in the bag so I don't have to carry as much.

If you feel more comfortable with two then that is all just your preference but carrying baby and one bag is plenty for me :-)

Me too! I keep saying I'm going to potty train her but I've been so sick it keeps getting pushed off into the future. I really don't want to do two babies in diapers again - I did it with my first two and not looking forward to it again.

I need to get another diaper bag too, mine seem to take a beating.
