Do you ladies wrap your gifts as you buy them and place them under the tree or wait until Christmas eve?

I normally pick a night usually the week before Christmas eve...and wrap and place under the tree. This year the kids have been on the naughty list more often than not so I am waiting until Christmas eve when they are out cold, and get DH to help (he is really good and through at wrapping gifts, lol), I want to trick them into thinking they aren't getting anything for Christmas! Plus I am afraid Ava will go under and start opening things!

I tend to pick things up and store them in the closet in the spare room, then a week or two before Christmas start wrapping a few gifts a night.

In the past we put the gifts under the tree as it was so pretty - but between the cat and the dog, although well trained, I cannot fully trust them not to unwrap the gifts, lol, so we wait until Christmas morning to put them out. Next year with the little one and Santa coming we will put them out Christmas Eve night and likely keep the pets on a different floor.

I usually wait until Christmas Eve to start wrapping. Just because that's when I'm in the mood.. I put on music, drink hot cocoa and wrap for hours.

I can't wait until next year when I'll have a little one to wrap for <3

I have everything but the stocking stuffers purchased and part of it is wrapped but I'm willing to bet that DS will not be able to keep away if they were under the tree so I'm thinking of putting them out on Christmas eve. Past years the tree was out of his reach and he was kind of oblivious to the whole concept of "presents" anyways so having them out early was never much of an issue.

I spend a few days wrapping. I wait until I have a decent number of gifts, wrap, and then rebuild the stash. I wrapped my first batch of gifts yesterday and love having them under the tree.

I always liked having them under the tree as soon as they were wrapped.. but now that my son is getting older and talks about Santa... we will put the gifts under the tree while he's sleeping on Christmas Eve night.

Its really hard for Ryan and Luke to not open presents, so we always do it christmas eve, but we wrap before then. I actually SUCK at wrapping presents, so Brian does all the wrapping with the exception of his own, then laughs when he sees his all wrapped weird. I TRY though. Lol.

Normally, I wrap and put under the tree before Christmas, EXCEPT for Santa gifts, which come out once the kids are asleep I haven't started wrapping yet, though, and I'm so behind. I'm starting to panic!

Honestly, I have it soooo easy and I'm soooo grateful!

I shop all year long. I even have things shipped to work and store them in my office (Thanks Dad!) and then I use the conference room at work to truck everything out and get it all wrapped one night.

This year, DH and DS went to CA for the annual Chargers tailgate. It was DS's first pro football game/tailgate and we had timed it for Thanksgiving weekend. So my parents drove their car and joined us with DH's family this year. So I left the boys in CA and I drove home with my folks to "elf" the house and do some serious toy purge.

My parents really wanted to help since me out the m/s and sleep issues were really hitting hard a few weeks ago. They took me out to dinner that Sunday and then we all went back to the office that night to convert the front room to the North Pole. I handed my dad "our" wrapping paper and DS's gifts from DH and me. My mom and I divided the Santa stuff and the "Santa" paper and we were done with everything in about an hour. I found some holiday music to stream on a computer and they talked about they would ship my sister and I off for a night with one of our grandparents and they would pull everything out and each wrap a color (Red for her, green for me - no tags, no handwriting, the color in your stocking is the paper you get under the tree.) I'm surprise, my dad has some mad wrapping skills!

Ohh no we definitely don't put them under the tree early. Those would never last in this household lol. All presents get put under the tree Christmas Eve when they are sleeping. That's how it was done with me when I was little and it's so exciting to see all those presents pop up under the tree!!

I usually wait until last minute because I dislike wrapping presents lol It'll be done a few days before Christmas, I'll have to lock myself in a room downstairs and wrap them all. They are all in storage under the stairs right now. I won't put anything out until Christmas Eve when my daughter is sleeping. It's easy now because she's only 2 and I put a baby gate up, I know she won't come out (actually can't get out) of her room, so we don't have to wait for her to be fast asleep lol Next year will be another story, I'll probably have to set an alarm to get up in the middle of the night to put them out lol
