We have a spare room that has been stuffed to the brim with boxes, old notebooks, sewing supplies, outgrown clothes and toys from DS, a very old desk cluttered with a dinosaur of a computer and all of the trimmings of a bachelor pad computer, etc, etc, etc. Well, tonight we weeded out at least a third of the stuff and made enough space to put a king sized bed down on the floor. It will be the spare bed for nights when baby just isn't sleeping and one of us desperately needs to sleep. Wish it was a twin, but a king is the only other bed we have. We are also not putting a crib in baby's room, so he/she gets a king size from the start.

We talked about painting and have a little pile of baby things that will eventually go in there, and even a pile of things that will be hung on the walls once we are done painting. I am so excited!!!!

It is funny, baby won't even be sleeping in there for a year or two, but it will be nice to have a place to put diapers, clothes, toys, etc. This is feeling so very real!

Cautiously expecting a little one sometime in June, and always remembering my 5 little ones that left too soon.

Awwwww!!! That is awesome!!! It does make it seem real! Brian is already giddy about painting our boys room "avenger blue"- they LOVE Avengers and its a reward for not doing any "yuckies" in their room. And hes going to get the paint for babies room at the same time ( just a nuetral tan, because its like our upstairs living room, for bri, me n the boys, so we can get away from my mom lol)

Its a good thing that you are starting early! A few months from now you may not have felt up to it as much!
