Just wondering if Braxton Hicks Contractions or the contractions you get leading up to labor affect the baby. I remember with my last pregnancy that when I was finally in labor the contractions would affect his heart rate. I assume that the false labor contractions don't affect the baby at all but just wondering what everybody else thought. I see my dr on friday so I was going to see what he said also.

I know crazy question but your mind just thinks of everything towards the end.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

Kylie gets more active during mine which is tons of fun when she starts banging aginst me during one lol. I dont think she likes them i guess maybe she has less room or something. So her heart rate may go up but i think problly it whould be more from her activity.

Iv never really thought about it which is surprising becuse I come up with the weirdest things that I just have to know to. yesterday it was if a baby is born during a transcontinental flight what country birth certificate does it receive......apparently a child born mid-flight is considered to have been born in the country that the airline is registered to.

I was wondering about this yesterday. I was having contractions for a few hours yesterday and baby girl got REALLLLLLY quiet until they stopped. Same the day before. I was thinking about asking my dr about it Thursday. They might want to do an NST to see how baby's heart rate is doing during contractions.

I'm curious about this too. They can't be that much fun for them, because they def aren't fun for us! I just had one and its just blah. I feel like I should just keep really still until its over. I feel like if I bend during one she's gonna be smushed!
