Title says it all- I have moderately uncomfortable period-like cramps all the time. No real spotting, occasional very little when I wipe that is brown/pink versus red.

Should I be worried? I was thinking that some was normal esp since I still early. But constant?

It could be something, it could be nothing. Unfortunately there is really no way to know at this point. Fingers crossed it is nothing!! Will be thinking of you.

There's not really any way to know other than go to a doctor or give it time. But it's definitely normal to have cramping for awhile.

Honestly, not trying to scare you or anything, but I would go get checked out. I have been having mild cramps and started very light pink spotting today. Turns out I may be M/C with dropping hcg levels.

I pray that it is nothing serious. I do not want anyone to feel the way I do right now!

If I were you, I would go get checked out. It could be nothing. But it seems a little worrisome that you are having both cramping and spotting. I would at least call your doctor and get his opinion. I am crossing my fingers it is nothing major and just baby getting settled in.

It looks like you and I are at the exact same spot in our pregnancy, and I have the same thing. Period like "cramping" - more like twinges IMO, and brown or light pink spotting on occasion. I asked my Dr when I went in this week, she said it was all very normal while the baby is getting settled. Obviously if you are concerned then see your Dr. We did find that my progesterone is a bit low, so I almost wonder if that is part of the answer. Could be anything - hope you get it figured out soon!

Thanks ladies!! I don't think I am actually that concerned with the spotting since it seems like old blood and is sporadic versus constant. I spotting pretty consistently with DS for almost all of the first trimester. I don't usually have cramps wy period so the cramps just se odd to me- but I am a bit relieved to hear that others experience it too! I will give the midwife a call on Monday since I do not have an appointment until February 12 now (DS was sick Thursday and I ha to reschedule my appointment and the 12th was the soonest they had ) just to see what she has to say.

It could be irritable uterus. Your uterus is basically a pain in the ***. It isn't dangerous, just annoying.

Thank you Vicki for my awesome siggy!!
