I am a WAHM/SAHM since I an an independent freelance artist (I am a 3D character creator/Skinner/Texture creator for movies, TV, Book covers, print ads ect) so while I work from home, I also have the freedom of working only when I want and on what I want Right now I am taking a bit more time as a SAHM and enjoying having only 1 in diapers .. for a bit longer

I have a CNA certification, but not for this state. But right now I'm working at a daycare/preschool as the three year old teacher. Only been doing it a couple months but I love it.

I am an administration/receiving manager at a microbiology lab. I don't have the scientific background, but deal with customer service.

I went to college for a degree in Early Childhood Education, solely with the intent for teaching the 3-5 year old age range (mainly 4's, I love working with 4 year olds, it is like the funnest age). A semester before I was due to start student teaching I found out that the college degree was going to hurt my chances of getting hired at more daycares in my area so I dropped out after I had my daughter. (Which was handy since she ended up having a lot of health problems.)

I spent the next four years working first at a Parents Day Out program at my church, and then I got hired on at an awesomely rated daycare. The director was going through the ECE program when I was and we had several classes together, she heard from someone at her daycare that she used to work with me and a week later I got offered a job.

For the past year though I've been a SAHM. As much as I love working with kids it seemed that what had always worked for us before no longer was and that I was needed at home. I've loved it and it's been amazing spending this year at home with my daughter before she starts school next year.

SAHM I have a degree that I finished about 2 years before my daughter was born, but hopefully I won't be using it anytime soon! I love being home with my baby.
