We went to nh this weekend and the hospital had me come in special on Sat to fill out registration so I could get my appointment set up for July. I called today and spoke with the nurse, my appointment is set up for July 2, where I will meet with a cnmw and do basically another intake appointment lol. They have 3cnmw and one obgyn, she said in that practice there really isn't much of a difference except the nmw doesn't do c sections but she would still be in the room. I asked about their stance in pain relief as I refuse to do an epidural again, and she said they also use laughing gas. I asked about who the best choice would be since I really need someone to listen to me as I have quick labors and we'll be 30-45 min from the hospital. She said they are used to it and everyone is pretty willing to work with it and keep it do able, so that made me feel better. still very impatiently waiting on my test results

I refuse to go with another epidural too! They are pretty painful! Plus with fast labors, its not really worth the time, pain and money to get one IMO. Last time I had the laughing gas at the dentist, lol, I got sick. That wouldn't be an option for me either I suppose, Since my labors and pushing phase are fast I just suck it up. The worst part IMO is not knowing how much longer and I am not a patient person when it comes to that kind of pain!

I have really fast labors and the epidural stalled it, as soon as it wore off, I went from 6 to 10cm in 30 seconds. I'd rather suckiit up if I have to. Ive done natural and would like something to take the edge just a little lol
