What body changes have you noticed since getting pregnant?
Honestly, I don't think much has really happened so far and it's a bit love-hate. My boobs haven't changed at all, I'm still wearing the same bras I've been wearing for years. I am a big bigger around the waist, but not very much. I've only gained 3-4 pounds so I look the same really, with just a little padding. I still fit into all my clothes the same. Unless I wear the right pants I don't look pregnant at all. But the acne It's not as bad as it could be (big, red bumps) but I do have a lot of small, skin coloured bumps all over my forehead and they are starting to move down. DF thinks I'm starting to get a linea nigra, but I don't. I've always had a very faint line going down from my belly button but he's never noticed it before, so maybe.
I'm up about 8 lbs total. I put on a lot of weight in a hurry but then plateaued about a month and a half ago for no real reason (not for a lack of trying, I promise - I have been stuffing my face!). Since I was a bit bigger to start with I'm perfectly okay with not gaining a lot of weight. Midwives say there is no cause for concern yet.
That said, I am really showing now - there is no piece of clothing that I don't look pregnant in, and I feel like a whale. I posted a photo of 19 weeks on FB but not here yet - I'll need to transfer it over sometime. I definitely look more than 8 pounds heavier, but I think it's just because I started with some pudge and baby is pushing it out.
Mercifully, there's no stretch marks on my stomach yet, but I already had some on my legs that are looking a little worse for the wear. Also, my poor breasts have gone completely crazy. There are a couple of small stretch marks, but other than that, they are huge and heavy and achy and I kind of hate them now. I'm normally relatively flat-chested and, as odd as this is to admit, I really don't like having bigger breasts. I always thought I coveted better endowed women but it turns out that I hate having big boobs.
