Beginning about two week ago, I noticed that my nose is bloody in both nostrils every day. It's not like it drips down but if I blow my nose, it's totally bloody. I'm in Florida so it's not a dryness thing - it's totally humid here. Just wondering if anyone else has this and how long it might last. It's kind of gross!

Yes, I've had this throughout pregnancy, and my nose is runnier than normal. I read that it's very common because of the extra blood flow.

Yep, I usually get it throughout pregnancy and it definitely is not a dryness thing for me either since my nose always seems to be a bit runnier than normal.

My nose has been runny and stuffy the whole pregnancy. Sometimes when I blow there is a good amount of blood. My OB said it'll stick around until a few weeks after the birth.

Yep!! And if you have central air it makes it worse :-( I am loaded every morning with sinuses fullllllll of it :-( I dont want to turn off my a/c so I just deal with it and drink toooooons of water.

I get stuffy during pregnancy so I assume that's attributing to it as well

I'm lurking from dec DDC but I have it also. I have lots of stuffiness and many times blood. It's from increased blood flow in your body.

Mom to 4 beautiful kids! 3 on Earth and 1 in heaven. Our little girl, Matilda Hope had Down Syndrome. She was born with TMD, a disease that is like leukemia. She fought that and beat it. Then, she had liver failure. She beat that, too. On October 17, 2014 she had NEC, necrotizing enterocolitis. My baby went to Heaven on October 19, 2014. She lived exactly one month.

Well it sounds like I'm in good company then! We do have central A/C at home and at work so that sounds like it could be contributing. I can't live without it though in Florida! I just feel better knowing it's common/okay. Thanks ladies

I have definitely had the same thing, as well as a lot more congestion - I always seem to be a bit stuffy. I know that all the previous posters have said basically the same thing, but you are definitely not alone

Me too. I have to get up a few times every night to blow my nose because I get so stuffy too.
