I have my girdle from before and i need to wash it.It says hand wash with gentle soap.
Can anybody give me any tips on what soap or anything else i should clean it with.
I dont hand wash things really ever.
I want to make sure it smells good and looks good too.
My crazy pregnantness needs everything to be perfect.

Do you use Deft for baby? If so I would use that or you can dilute your regular detergent and let it soak for a little bit and and rinse it out. A mild hand soap could also work.

Maybe make a paste with baking soda, smear it on the wet girdle and leave it sit for a while. Then rinse off the baking soda and then do another rinse with a mixture of water and vinegar. I did something similar for my husband's comforter (and then washed it in the machine) the other day and it came out looking much better than the other times that I just washed it in the machine.

I throw all the hand wash stuff in a lingerie bag and run it through the wash and let it air dry. My washer is a high efficiency front loader though, so no agitator to catch on anything.
