I was scheduled for my 20 week scan on monday, and I had worked 8 extra hours to earn time to take the day off since I also had my second centering class in the afternoo. 20 mins beforehand appt a rude receptionist called me to tell me the sonographer called in sick and I could deal with the face that it wasn't going to happen that day. She wasn't nice at all and I think I was really upset because I was so excited to see Roen. I had my midwife centering class that night and my fundal height was measuring right on track!
That same day I got our marriage license and scheduled a n elopement type ceremony for Tahoe , which is about 30 mins from where I live. We will be doing this for legality purposes because I want my sons last name before he is born. The ceremony is aug 8 and our wedding is on our anniversary next year.
Today I fell and twisted my ankle, which really hurts. I have been worried about the baby, but his little hear is still thumping away according to my doppler.
It's been a busy week! My ultrasound is going to be Tuesday so I'm glad I'll still get to see the little guy
8/13, 1/14, 2/14, 8/15, 10/15 - mommy to angels!
After 5 early losses we are cautiously expecting our second miracle!
Ugh. That is so disappointing that it was postponed and that the receptionist wasn't at all sympathetic.
That is exciting about the wedding though even if the actual wedding isn't until next year. Congrats!
I feel you on the twisted ankle. I stepped on a toy as we were getting ready to go out of town on the 4th of July and twisted my ankle, and I was worried about baby too. I was glad I had my Doppler for reassurance.
