If this has already been asked I'm sorry, but I'm wondering what your betas have been and how far long you were?? I just had my first yesterday at 5 weeks according to LMP but only 15dpo based on when I actually ovulated. My level was 325. I go back tomorrow to see if they have doubled.

I have them done because I have a history of ectopic pregnancies and if they don't double within 48 hours that's a tell tale sign I'm having an ectopic pregnancy.

My numbers have been

136
299
699
2332

I'm not really sure of my due date though since I have long cycles and no clue when I ovulate but I think the first one was 13dpo and the last would be 20dpo. I went in today for my final draw.

Cuatx, I'be noticed some woman do it as a routine thing too, probably just doctor preference or maybe not knowing how far along they are?

Midnightdreams, thank you for sharing!!

Ugh. I wish that I could get my numbers. The doctors here don't even do a pregnancy test, they just rely on the first u/s to confirm that everything is a-ok. And THAT isn't even until 8-10 weeks.

Seems like doing beta testing could prevent a lot of heartbreak ahead of time, but I suppose that unless you have had issues, it probably is unnecessary for most women.

I've never had them done with any pregnancy either. I have no idea what's normal.
