Hi girls had us today babies are so much bigger and so darn cute here's some pics and also if you look at baby b you can see a nub!! They say boys are angled up and girls completely horizontal (angle of the dangle) so I'm thinking I've got one boy so far we have an hour long us on the 25 th ill be 16 weeks so I bet I'll know in 3 weeks what I'm having Yayyy
BABY A (COULDN'T GET GREAT PICS SHE OR HE WASNT IN A GOOD POSITION FOR PICS)
That's so awesome! I can't wait for my next appt next Wednesday... It's always so nice to see how much the babies grow week to week. I will have to keep the "angle" in mind for my upcoming u/s! Last week they were both horizontal, facing down. I uploaded pics in the ultrasound pics thread.
Baby A is the one that's closest to the cervix. I think they can switch throughout the pregnancy. I had to ask my doctor how they could tell! Baby A will be the first one delivered, and as long as A is in vertex position (head down), it is safe to deliver both babies vaginally, even if B is in breach. But, if they can't get B turned around, or there are complications, then B should be delivered by C-Section.
Kaelyn- what are you hoping/planning for? Vaginal or C-Section? I know it's a long ways off and the babies can turn between now and the end... I'm hoping for a vaginal birth, but planning for a C-Section.
