I never had gestational diabetes with my first 3 but did with the one born in November. I failed my 1hr I took at 12w (181l and I was supposed to do my 3hr this week but I'm not going until next week. If I fail this one they will count it as me being diabetic which is not correct since my sugars have been normal since a few days after having Tyler. If I pass this one then I have to do another 3hr at 20w. Has anyone else already done their testing due to having GD in a previous PG?
Mom to Jakob (10), Jarrett (9), and Elijah (4) and Tyler. (7 months) DH Cody

I didn't have GD with my other 2 kids, but I have a history of diabetes in my family so they had me do the 1 hour at 8 weeks. I passed, but will have to repeat the test whenever they normally do it- 24 weeks or something like that? They have tested me early in my other pregnancies as well and I've always passed, but I've always failed the 1 hour at 24 weeks and had to do the torturous 3 hour test, but pass that one. It's such a pain. I do not want GD.
I am supposed to go in for the one hour since I had it with my daughter but I have yet to go in. Once my husband gets home I will go do the test the first day he is back. I hope I do not fail it cause I always dread that 3 hour.
