So I am 16 weeks yesterday and I haven't fit in my pants for quite awhile but I was denying it and using a belly band. But even then the pants were not comfortable.. So after a melt down today trying to find something to wear, instead of cooking, we drove out to Motherhood (30 minutes away) and I bought two pair of pants.. Holy hades. They are the best things ever!! I didn't wear maternity clothes with my other two, I just wore my fat pants and belly bands. But I may live in these forever LOL!!

I went and bought some really nice shirts and 2 pair of jeans and a pair of dress slacks from a lady in town. Cheaper than driving an hr to buy any maternity clothes.. all from motherhood.. I was happy..

Glad you made the switch. I miss my regular clothes already, but maternity stuff really is much more comfortable.

I upgraded to maternity jeans from Motherhood pretty quickly and you are totally right, they are amazing! I was in denial about many other clothing items such as bras and tops... Maternity clothing does fit so much better but can be so expensive. I have a variety of items from Motherhood and am convinced that the quality is pretty crappy. One of my favorite resources for finding awesome maternity wear while staying within budget is http://www.inexpensivematernityclothes.org

Thanks for this link. I am going to check it out. I used to own several items from Motherhood and the quality is horrible and they are really expensive.

I just started breaking out the maternity pants this week, and boy, it really does make a difference. I've been wearing a lot of my maternity shirts ever since my last pregnancy. They fit a lot better after chest expanded.
