Had my monthly appt. this morning to go over the ultrasound results from last week. Doctor agreed with the radiologist that GD may be the case for why baby is so big, so he gave me my lab paperwork to schedule a 3 hour glucose test this week. UGH. I thought the 1 hour test was bad enough.. now I have to fast and wait in the lab for 3 hours, getting poked every hour. Not looking forward to it. Hopefully the results will be good news though and I don't have GD. Crossing my fingers!
You have my sympathies. I have had to do the 3 hour test with both of my other pregnancies. It's horrible. Have you done it before? I never had GD though, but my body has a hard time processing sugar when I'm pregnant.
I have never done it before. Just the normal 1 hour test where you don't have to fast, you drink the nasty beverage then an hour later they draw your blood. I am not looking forward to this one. I get really nauseous if I don't eat first thing in the morning (sometimes during the night too), so I am afraid I will be puking. UGH
