I went to the doctor at 20 weeks for our anatomy scan and they told us everything looked awesome with the little one except that he was "still breech"... and I missing something or is he not supposed to turn until later? She had me freaking a little bit and now im getting annoyed at all the kicks continuously in my pelvis and telling him to start kicking toward my belly button and even higher! lol What week(s) range are they supposed to turn? I dont fear labor AT ALL for some reason, but I have nightmares about breech-induced C sections

PS.... Hello again- ive been gone for 2 months! haha back to teaching now with a laptop at my fingers all the time

Hi! Welcome back. . .I don't know about that but don't fear a c/s! You will be fine and if YOU DO need one (which I am sure you wont) it's not that bad.

They can turn anytime between now and delivery. And just because they turn doesn't mean they will stay that way. My DD3 didn't stay until a week before my induction at 39 weeks. I worried and worried about a c section. They wont stay until the head engages but sometimes it is later. I wouldn't fret over the 20 w US though baby has plenty of time. In the mean time they like to move around.

My DS was breech until 38 weeks. He flipped on his own. I'm not sure what took him so long. There's definitely no need to worry this early on.

My son was diagonal at my 38 week appt. He did end up moving and going head down though. I wouldn't worry at all right now.

My youngest flipped to breech at 38 weeks...little turd lol...but I wouldn't worry about much, especially this early. Csection is not that bad. I was nervous about mine, but its what had to happen. No worries hon.

Welcome back! My baby was also breech but they didnt seemed concerned at all. He/she will turn umpteen times before birth anyways. Some babies turn right before, some turn months before and then turn again. I'm sure it'l be fine. I wouldnt start worrying until like, week 38, lol.
