Which type of pants do you prefer? Do you like the kind with the panel that covers your entire belly or the kind that has thick elastic around the top and doesn't cover your belly?

I like the kind with the elastic that does not cover my belly. I hate the feeling of the fabric on my belly.

Also, do you guys have this problem where maternity jeans have extra wide hips? I find pants that fit just fine in the waist, but the cut of the pants is HUGE at my hips and upper thighs. I'm pretty sure that just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean my I've gained 20 lbs in my hips and thighs. So annoying.

I don't like the stuff on my belly either but the thick elastic tends to hurt me. Last pregnancy I lucked up and found some at baby depo for $10 a pair that have the full belly panel. I however turn it down halfway usually so it covers my belly button. I cant stand for it to rub anything either, lol.

Most of my maternity pants are regular zipper with button in the front and the waists are adjustable like kids pants with the elastic that goes over the buttons on the inside. Do you know what I'm talking about? That's what I prefer.

I like the thin full panel too that mid belly stuff is the worst for me. . .I feel like it segments my belly. Never have a prob with wide hips. . . as mine are usually wider than the regular ones. I have a problem finding them in Long.

They all stink, generally. Meh. Lol. They sag in the rear or suddenly are too tight, too restrictive, too revealing or just too small! The end.

I love my maternity leggings, no sagging either! they are comfy and cute and I can wear them with boots and a long shirt or dress in the winter! But other than that, I need to find me some long dress pants for work bc this aint workin.

I have the ones with the panel that go over the belly. I tried on a pair of the other ones but I found the band too tight.

I like the full panel kind. The others just fold up under my belly when i sit down.
I have big hips and a huge but so mine usually fit okay lol
