We have our 2 month appointment today. It was supposed to be yesterday, but my battery died and I couldn't get in. Unfortunately it is a snow day for my oldest today, so me, the baby, DH and DS will all be taking the baby in.
I'm also trying not to be nervous as he has his shots today and I hate shots. I have to check and see if the Dr. thinks he has eczema or if it is just baby acne/dry skin as well. Wish us luck!
I never have liked having to take my kids in for shots but although it is not fun we know that they are required for the most part. Good luck at the appointment and I hope there is no reaction to the shots. The first time for getting them is always a trying time.

This is a normal reaction among those parents who really hate to see their kids hurt. As time goes on it does get easier to deal with and although I hate to see it done (I used to make my husband come with me and do it and walked out of the room) but know it has to be.
All was well. Cian's up to 23 inches and 12.2 pounds (he was only 7 pounds at 2 weeks). He has acne and not eczema so I was happy about that.
I only cried a little for the shots (Cian was a trooper and calmed down pretty quickly). He was sleepy and screamed for awhile at home which concerned me, but I think his stomach was upset from the medicine. He's still tired today, but much, much happier.
