From the abruption (the placenta started tearing away from the uterine wall). It was really bad. Barely avoided a transfusion.

I had an abruption with #7 and needed a csection too. It was scary, there was so much blood. I also didn't feel right most of the day before. Amazing how we just know!!

Glad you are both okay. Congrats.

How scary! I'm glad you guys are both ok. I hope you recover quickly, that nursing gets well established and that you're both home and comfortable soon.

Oh my goodness! What a terrifying experience. I'm so glad you made it home before everything took place. I'm so sorry none of this went as you expected. Thank goodness you made it to hospital to get the care you needed and you will both be okay with time. I hope BF gets easier very quickly. ((hugs))

We are doing good. We came home Saturday! Breastfeeding is going pretty good, we had a few days where it was extremely challenging (sometimes taking an HOUR to get her to latch on!!). Baby is still a bit jaundiced, but not too bad. I'm still tender and sore, but mostly okay.
