i was booked for a csec on the 29july.That monday i was 39weeks 2days. got to the hospital where hubby collected my file. we went to the maternity ward where we found my doula waiting,my room was already ready and warm. i was prepd for 9;30 but there were emergencies so we had to hang in there a bit. at 11:00 nurses told me its my turn and guess what i started crying (guess it was fear). Tau was born at 11:48 weighing 3.3kg and 47cm in length, daddy got to take him out and cut the umbilical cord, his cord was lose but the obgyn told me not to worry. i waswheeled back to my room to recover and the rest is just about how i could not stop staring at my baby.

i must say having my doula there made a big difference

Congratulations on your sweet boy! I think it's normal to be scared, but I'm so happy you and your little guy are doing great!
